After receiving numerous donations for relief in Haiti and $5.5 million in a bequest, the GAMC has increased this year's mission budget by $5 million. Next year's mission budget has also increased an additional $3.7 million. This is not only in response to these increased donations, but to an analysis of 2010's donations, which were $10.8 million higher than budgeted, with $6.5 million of budgeted money going unspent.
