Workers at Broomall Presbyterian Village in Broomall, PA went on strike today in response to unfair bargaining tactics, seeking higher wages and fair treatment from their parent company, Presby's Inspired Life. Although not directly linked to the PC(USA), many note the apparent difference in values between the stances taken by the General Assembly for workers' rights and the alleged actions of Presby's Inspired Life. Wages paid to the non-managerial staff are lower than at other non-union facilities owned by the company. [Delaware County News Network]
