The Presbyterian Hunger Program has issued an alert about the Colombia Free Trade Agreement. This coincides with proceedings for agreements with Korea and Panama. According to the statement, the PC(USA) is taking action because "land rights...are consistently undermined" and because the church "opposes multinational actions and trade agreements" that elevate corporate rights over government and individual rights.
