Gradye Parsons, Stated Clerk of the PC(USA), joined other religious leaders for President Obama's Holy Week prayer breakfast yesterday morning. Parsons did get a chance to talk to the President, and raised the issue of immigration reform, reminding the President of the Biblical mandate to extend hospitality to resident aliens. Obama met later that day with other religious and public leaders to discuss immigration reform. A press release describes the Obama administration's continued efforts to improve legal immigration and secure U.S. borders. [PCUSA]
