Former Union Seminary President Speaks on Forgiveness

Former Union Theological Seminary President Rev. Donald Shriver will be featured in a PBS documentary titled Forgiveness: A Time to Love and a Time to Hate. The documentary explores multiple notions of forgiveness and the difficulty of forgiving others. Shriver points out in a number of ways that forgiveness is not naive or easy, but requires concerted effort, saying that the focus should not be "forgive and forget," but "forgive and remember."
