Big Table: Church for the Food Industry

Rev. Kevin Finch, formerly of First Presbyterian Church in Spokane, Washington, saw a need and filled it. As a restaurant critic, he noticed the disconnect between people working in the food industry and church. Neither schedules nor attitudes matched up often, so he created Big Table - which includes the use of a giant table - to bring together food workers of all types into a caring community. [PCUSA]
