As a combined effort of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the Presbytery of South Louisiana, Project Homecoming continues to rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, now 6 years ago. It will receive its own 501(c)(3) status later this year as PDA transitions out of the Gulf region. Project Homecoming hopes to be self sustaining, having earned a $500,000 grant from the city of New Orleans. [Good Neighbor Stories]
